Samsung release Galaxy A7 :- Android Market
After months of wait Samsung fans were
in for a delight on January 12th with the Galaxy A7 being announced.
Packed with two separate 4-core processors with speeds upto 1.8 Ghz, 2Gb RAM, a
64-bit Snapdragon Qualcomm processor this 5.5 inch HD S-AMOLED beauty with a
full metallic body
is truly a beast in Samsung’s A-series. The biggest treat perhaps is it’s full-metal body, a first for Samsung after receiving a lot of criticism over it’s all plastic (and in some cases faux leather) usage. The phone also packs a 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary camera.
is truly a beast in Samsung’s A-series. The biggest treat perhaps is it’s full-metal body, a first for Samsung after receiving a lot of criticism over it’s all plastic (and in some cases faux leather) usage. The phone also packs a 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary camera.
Apart from this Samsung A7 also boasts
of cooler things like advanced 'selfie' features
including ‘Ultra Wide Shot’ and ‘Auto Selfie’ modes, which make it possible to
take a shot using only a voice command or even a simple wave of the hand. Making
life easier for all you narcissists out there. Samsung also boasts of other features
like ‘Always Clear Voice
Auto Control’ which reduces background noise during calls, multiple screen
support for apps and a private mode that “adds an extra layer of security for
important files and documents.”(a boon for the dirty minds out there). The
battery is a massive 2600mAh providing enough juice for all its features to
last throught the day.
Samsung’s
main vision behind the phone is to give it’s user a seamless and a high-quality
social media experience. Making it smooth, fast and less crash prone. The price
is a mid range 24,000 rupees and comes in a wide range of colors. Some say the
low price and distinctively different design is a bid to undo the effect Xiaomi
has had on the Asian markets. However Samsung maintains that the phone has a
vision of it’s own and is a by product of samsung’s vision ‘ to develop devices that appeal to a broad range of consumers and
are ahead of the next big social trend’ according to JK Shin CEO and Head of IT
& Mobile Communication at Samsung Electronics. The Galaxy A7 isn’t
available in stores yet and is expected to arrive by the end of Q1 of 2015.( For those of you like me, end of Q1 means
April).
